Glass dab rigs are purpose-built for concentrates — a compact water chamber and focused percolation preserve the terpene flavor a large bong would wash out. Borosilicate glass keeps that flavor pure, hit after hit.
A dab rig uses a banger or nail for concentrates instead of a bowl for dry herb, and keeps the water chamber small so flavor stays intense. Bongs are larger and built for herb.
